This ideal first set of puzzles is also a versatile learning tool. The textured chunky pieces fit into three differently themed trays to teach shape recognition, categorization and fine motor dexterity. The 12 fun shapes can also be used for sorting and matching activities, stenciling, clay stamping, imaginary play, and even cookie cutting.

Cleaning Instructions: Immerse in warm water. OK to add dish detergent. Wipe any dirt with a cloth. Completely rinse with water. Air dry.

We love Place and Trace in our family! It's the go-to toy that we bring to different grandparents' houses as you can use it in multiple ways and it's easy to transport. Perfect gift for siblings as each can play with them in different ways, from a puzzle to playdough stamping to tracing. They're wonderful for teaching early vocabulary and you can use them in sensory bins i.e. the dinosaurs pair perfectly with a bin full of dirt and rocks!

They're very easy to clean, so you can get them as dirty as you like. We even have my husband's set from when he was a child, so you know they will last forever!

I love this product and its versatility! I currently use it with my toddler as a tool for learning colors, the various animals and vehicles, and as a beginner puzzle! I can also use this with my elementary school child as a stencil, for impressions in play-doh and sand, and even as a cookie cutter when cleaned!!
